"Can't download FROM computer?!?!"
Pros: Has a lot of features, but...
Cons: Now that I've bought the cables, I find out that I can't download from the computer to the phone! Am I missing something? That's ridiculous! My 5-year old Sony Erricson could do THAT! I can't make my own ringtones now.
Summary: I could've lived without a timer (though that would be really useful) but what is the point of uploading TO the computer if I can't download FROM it? This is a dealbreaker :-( Can anyone point me to a phone that CAN do this?

I JUST BOUGHT THIS PHONE SO SHOULD I BUY THE CABLE OR NOT? DID YOU EVER GET IT TO DOWNLOAD CORRECTLY? I HEARD THERE IS SOFTWARE NEEDED TO BUY TO DO THE DOWNLOADING BUT I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE.
WHERE YOU SUCCESSFUL AND IF SO HOW.

I just use the mini SD card and have no problems moving things back and forth. The manual isn't that complete but you can figure it out pretty easily...

Well, it took TWO hours of going back and forth between the menus on the phone and the menus on Windows Media Player 11 until I figured out how to get music from the computer to the phone. I'm a computer programmer, and the reviewers who said this phone is easy to use are NUTS. Instructions in the booklet are way TOO minimal. Extremely unintuitive.
