Pros It looks cool
Cons The T9 texting sucks! Common words like "you" "have" "and" "are" "i" and a lot more dont show up and so you have to scroll through a list to find them. The QWERTY keyboard buttons always mess up. You put your finger on the H and it hits the space! If some
Summary DONT EVER LET ANYONE YOU KNOW BUY THIS PHONE
Pros On the top side, this really is a cool looking phone. It has a few cool features like the "noise free" feature. And you cannot complain about the camera either. Takes excellent pictures.
Cons The whole menu structure of this phone is just inefficient compared to all of the other phones I've owned. The texting on it is really frustrating. It's too easy to hit the wrong buttons, and I have tiny fingers... And what makes it even worse, the T9 on
Summary If you're a patient slow texter then get this phone, it'll be worth it.
If you text a lot and fast. DO NOT get this phone. You WILL regret it.

Cons Typing on this phone is an exercise in frustration. If you text message, stay away from this phone!
Pros The screen is big when it's not white!
Cons The battery
I had 5 of these phones, SCREENS WOULD TURN WHITE
Summary I had multiple issues with these phones, so much so I had 5 of them, 3 given refurbished and 2 new. I kept going back but the answer was always "sir, we will replace it with another Crux phone." I had never been offered a new replacement (different model) so I ended up buying a flip phone and using that flawlessly until my contract was up. I am so glad to be away from this thing!
Some of the problems I faced, which I am sure I'm not alone on:
Has a beautiful touchscreen with a glass fascia. I loved going to the internet, reading texts, etc. on the vibrant screen. Well, the screen would simply go white. It would only get to displaying what it was supposed to when it was in the locked slid position. What is the USE of a phone which is constantly & always frozen and when unlocked just has a white screen. This happened on 3 of the 5
Charging port: Pantech had a good concept going here when they got out of the proprietary jacking system and moved FINALLY to Micro-USB from the aging Pantech Blitz. I loved that my separate cables worked for synchronization of music and such and charging. But after gentle use (I really tried to pull the charger out slowly) the middle part of the port stops working. It doesn't pop off and all looks right until you try to charge the device. 2 batteries and 3 chargers, we're back with still same scenario. The 2 last phones did that.
At the end of this, I learned that I would never buy a CRUX again for any reason (and I repair and work on technology for a living), and that I just could reconnect my old phone and forget the problems of this phone. But for anyone buying it to use, I want to warn, as this was a nightmare for 8 months. Pantech had a good concept here and DID fix a lot of the glitches with the new Hotshot series phones, but the CRUX was a failure at best. I guess they learned from their mistakes. DON'T GET THIS AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Thank you for reading and for your time.
