Summary: This is my first phone. I did a lot of research before buying it, and I really like it. Most of the people in my class have the iPhone, but what I love is that this phone can do pretty much everything an iPhone can do, except face time and iPhone has a much better camera, I think. This phone has a lot of features (most of them are only in advanced mode--I'll talk about that later). Built into the phone, you have a calculator, tip calculator, calender, sketch pad, notepad, stop watch, converter, you can do voice memos or notes to yourself, you can just say a command and your phone will pull stuff up for you, plus you can get apps.
The Pantech Ease has two modes, advanced mode and easy mode. Easy mode is just a simple mode that has your basic things you might want. Advanced mode has the ability to do a lot more, plus it has threaded text messaging.
The only really bad thing I've noticed is the camera, which is only two megapixles. If you want a lot of high quality photos on your phone, your going to need to get other people to text them to you, or you need to get a different phone. Also, I have yet to figure out a way to put a passcode on it. Once it's on, you can do that, but I've not figured out how to have it locked directly when you turn it on.
The other thing I want to say is about the battery. The battery life isn't bad unless your texting a lot or on it 24/7. I had my phone on the entire day (most of the time I'll admit it was in stand-by), but I was also getting messages and texting, and by the end of the day, I think I had about 70% of the battery life left. So the battery isn't exactly bad, unless you use it a lot a lot a lot.
