"Worst phone I ever owned" on by Kenb59
Pros: Sleek, very promising
Cons: Serious design flaw. speaker holes allow direct contact with "liquid detection indicator" sticker.
Summary: I bought this phone on 11/21/10, it died on 1/2/11. I got hot, the screen whited out and the battery lost its charge. I brought it back to ATT only to find out the "liquid detection indicator" was activated. This phone has never been wet. Come to find out, all this phone needs to activate the sticker, and void the warranty, is being placed in the bathroom when you take a shower. This has to be a design flaw. I have owned several phones and never had this kind of problem. The customer service rep at Pantech admitted that all their phones are "sensitive to moisture" and for a price, they will fix the phone. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Pantech and their flawed phones.

"Awful, this is my third one and it won't hold a charge" on by pork5
Pros: I like the look of it and how thin it is.
Cons: Won't hold a charge and gets hot. I haven't had the phone long enough to really be able to use it.
Summary:
I got this phone on 12/31/10 and already have returned it twice. I figured 3 phones can't all be bad, I was

very wrong. I charged it for three hours while it was off and after 20 minutes it died. Not only will it not hold a charge but it gets very hot. To top it all off the AT&T store said I need to call the company and they will have to ship me a phone. That will be difficult because I will not be getting the same phone. This has been very inconvenient and frustrating. Steer clear of this phone -
"Crappy phone crappy provider, crap in general." on by psytronx
Pros: Texting is easy.
Cons: If you text a lot it will lead to your demise, It gradually causes the wire to disconnect from the phone causing your screen to no long display. ATT claims it's physical damage to the phone Pantech claims it's physical damage to the phone neither wanted t
Summary: The phone is poorly put together. If you don't have insurance on it; Mine lasted me 4 months without ever dropping it. So all in all there are much better phones out there. Consider it as " You get what you pay for".

"Glitchy Software makes texting a pain" on by cave29
Pros: -Thin
-Pretty display
-Awesome battery life
-KeyboardCons: -Messaging SUCKS,
*media messages with photos or video show up blank unless you keep tapping the message
*half the time will show the # of the person instead of the name
* would randomly repeat messages
-Interface hides normal phone featuresSummary: I love the design of this phone, I hated the software. Most of the key features are hidden in menus like recent calls. When you receive a message and click accept instead of showing you the new message it opens to the message you had open last.. so if Bill texts you then Susan sends you a new message, when you accept to see Susan's message - you will be reading Bill's
Even with the phone on lock, when in your pocket it will randomly click
Also the phone is very touchy when it comes to photos and videos
however it dose look nice, but more frustrating then its worth -
"Pantech laser moisture indicator flawed" on by eons1006
Pros: Easy to text with
Cons: One of the moisture indicators is placed directly below the speaker holes
Summary: My phone has NEVER been in contact with liquid of any sort however one of the moisture indicators is red. I believe that something as simple as a humid day here in Maryland could have caused this because the indicator is placed directly below the holes on the back cover for the speaker. I believe the people at Pantech knew what they were doing when they put the sensor there, they knew it would turn red without ever coming into contact with liquid there for allowing them to void the warranty on this phone. Saving them a ton of money by not having to pay out on legitimate warranty claims. Dirty Pantech, VERY Dirty! I will never buy another Pantech phone!
