  • "Good, durable, and nice-looking phone."
    on by gothmarshmallow

    Pros +durable
+attractive (I've gotten compliments, and people constantly think it's a blackberry)
    +cheap
    +didn't need a data plan
    +good quality camera
+good music player (not important if you have an mp3)
    +good call quality
    It's a good phone overall.

Cons -The screen and body of the phone get scratched pretty easily, so buy a screen protector and a case. (no big deal, I bought a screen protector and case from Amazon for about 5 dollars)
-No headphone jack. (again, not a big deal; it's not needed)

Summary I love this phone. I got it because I was afraid I would break a slide out texting phone, and because I didn't want to deal with a touchscreen. Since I'm a teen, my phone goes through hell and back, and this phone is ridiculously durable. I'm not suggesting throwing it around, but I accidentally dropped it from the top of a staircase and it survived. It's even fallen in puddles, and gotten smacked against walls. The battery life is decent. I can go maybe two days without charging it, but it doesn't matter too much because I charge it every night. If it gets charged at night it lasts the entire day. One irritating thing is that the message inbox fills up pretty fast. I end up deleting messages every couple of days, but it's not really a big deal. I don't think the keyboard is cramped. It took me about two days to get used to it, and after that it was fine. I have had this phone since Nov. 11, 2011, and it is now Feb 18, 2012. It's been about three months and I've had no problems whatsoever.

  • "Fantastic Alternative to Smart Phones"
    on by Saskatchewan_Steve

    Pros Great design
    No data plan necessary
    Durable from short drops
    Great text conversation layout
    Battery life 4-6 days
    Fairly good music player
The camera has a lighting function and other adjustment options

Cons Too many shortcut buttons for internet access (makes data block almost necessary)
    Screen scratches easily (protection recommended)
Picture quality is good, but not fantastic

Summary Overall, I am very pleased with this phone. Since smart phones generate so much addition cost, I am perfectly content passing up the iphone 5 and Galaxy III because of how well the Pantech Link II functions. If you are looking for a brick (not a flip or slide), get this phone!!!

  • "Solid Phone!"
    on by Kuyagabe

Pros Decent screen, good for texting, ok calling

Cons Need to get used to the keypad in the beginning, can get cramped
With AT&T carrier, you can't disable your clock so you will have 2 ( doesn't look that good)

Summary Phone is very solid and does what it says: quick messaging and decent calling
Design is great for a feature phone and for the price it makes it look better

  • "Horrible phone. Att service equally as horrible."
    on by dayvidday

    Pros Absolutely nothing.

    Cons See above.

Summary This is the worst possible phone that I have ever gotten for 2 reasons.

    1. The phone is a horrible phone and broke in 32 days. All it does is turn on and off. For no reason, I keep immaculate care of my possessions. The only thing I can think of is that the company deliberately made a phone that would malfunction.

    2. What makes me believe this last statement is this, The employee at the ATT store immediately tried to SELL ME A NEW PHONE!!! There phone broke and he tried to sell me a new phone. Why in the world would I spend my money to purchase a phone when this phone died in 32 days. No, you have to fix my phone.

    3. They tested my phone at the ATT store and said the phone was broken and that it was in warranty... They had phones in the store and they would not compensate me. They made me go through a warranty factory and said all I had to do is "tell them that my phone was going through a power cycle and they would help me." They did not mention I would need my phone to contact them. It will now be another 2 weeks before I have a phone. This is B.S. do not buy this phone and do not buy service through ATT.
