"I'm happy with everything about this phone."
Pros: Readability of displays, call quality, feels comfortable and is easy to use.
Cons: Design of phone is ordinary, personalization choices limited to what comes from the manufacturer.
Summary: I've had this phone for 3 weeks and I'm happy with everything. Although it can't replace an iPod or a camera, it can certainly replace a watch. The size of the font on both the internal and external displays leaves no doubt about what the current time or date are. I like the monochrome external display because it is always visible, and the button to backlight that display is convenient if backlighting is desired.
The choice of wallpapers, ringtones and themes is not as extensive as some phones, and downloading others from the internet is not available, but there are choices, and I was able to settle on a set that is satisfactory to me.
Call quality in my metropolitan area is perfectly fine. I carry my phone in my front pocket, and the ring and vibrate levels are both fine.
Sleek and stylish it is not, and so I take off 1 point for that, but it is comfortable to hold and carry and is easy to use.Updated
One other thing. When I first got the phone, I was having some problems with reception. But I was already liking the phone otherwise, so I called Verizon customer service to see if the problem might be that I had gotten a bad phone rather than a problem with the model. They told me to try doing the over the air updating of the "roaming capability", even though roaming has nothing to do with my use, but they said it gets the phone current with the signals being sent from the towers, etc. That was the correct answer as I have not had any issues with reception since.
