"Great phone. Been using it for 2 years with no problem." on by smbeveridge
Pros: Very simple, stylish, and reliable.
Cons: You have to remember to lock the front screen before putting it back in your pocket. Other than that, no complaints.
Summary: I highly recommend this phone for those who want to stay away from smart phones. Does not require a data plan, meaning you pay for access to the internet at your own expense (which still seems to be cheaper than a data plan). It's also basically indestructible. I've dropped/tossed it countless times and the only mark it has is a single scratch on the front screen.

"Worst. Phone. Ever." on by Presley1197
Pros: The Camera has great color, and doesnt blur often, The key booard is good for fast texters, and the voice recorder or 'voice memo' is great, the sound is clear and easy to record with.
Cons: Everything else! When you slide the phone closed, if you push it, just a little bit too hard, it shuts off, and takes a few times to turn off. If you touch the back too hard it turns off. The video camera only records 45 secconds of video.
Summary: I cant stand this phone. Since Ive been with AT&T, I have had 10 phones... this is the worst. This phone is amazing at first, the first month or so, thats it; but about 6 months later, this phone is worth crap. I hate everything, really. Its scratched easily. It looks nice, I like the wall papers that come with the phone, very nice. One thing, probably the 3rd worst thing about this phone, is the fact that it take THREE DAYS to retrieve a picture message, yes, you read correctly, 3 whole days. This is a very quiet phone, a ring tone that was so loud you could hear it through a closed door on my friends phone, you had to put to your ear on full blast on the Reveal. Over all, Pantechs are usualy great phones, this... was horible.
Do I suggest this phone to anyone? NO! Never.
Was this worth $250....oh gosh no. Maybe... 30 dollars... Maybe. -
"Great free messaging phone not smartphone" on by drabbitt
Pros: Internet, GPS, dual keyboard (I like a regular phone pad for plain vanilla phone calls), bright brilliant screen
Cons: Sound quality from me: some say it's a bit muffled.
Summary: If you are looking for a free phone with messaging, internet, GPS, etc without having to layout for a smart phone, this one may fill your bill

"Great, reliable phone" on by ShadowsOfTears
Pros: Call quality is really good. Texting is fairly easy, the phone responds quickly. Decent battery life. The number pad is active while the keyboard is so no switching between numbers and letters!
Cons: The keyboard is a little cramped until you get used to it. I can't add picture caller ID or ringtones to each contact. A little hard to navigate at first. Web browsing can be tiring on long pages.
Summary: Once getting used to it, the keyboard was just the right size for me. I do have smaller fingers though so I wouldn't recommend for someone with larger hands unless you just like the look and don't plan on texting that much.
I only used 1 bar of battery life with lots of calling and texting and basic web browsing. I had only used 2 bars of battery life after 2 hours worth(maybe more) of youtube videos to entertain my daughter on a long trip.
The menus are a little crazy..It took me forever to figure out how to change the alert tone for a text. FYI it's Settings, then Profiles. Scroll down to the one you want and select edit on the left side.
I think not being able to add picture caller ID and ringtones to each contact my just be my phone. I'm getting the sneaky suspicion they sent me a refurbished phone even though I ordered a new one. I haven't had a chance to head over to and AT&T store and have them poke at it. I basically just get an error that says "No contact exists" even though I've made sure all my contacts are on the phone and not the sim.
All and all this phone is a good, inexpensive text messaging phone with a decent browser. -
