"Just Bought my Blast today,.......already having issues!!"

    by sxypisces2004 on September 14, 2007

Pros: style design and color of the phone

Cons: issues with revieving email and video

Summary: Just purchased this samgsung blast phone today and so far im pretty satisfied. I like the style and design of the phone. They keypad is cool, just have to get used to the way it is layed out. Im so used to the regular phones, so text messaging, im slow on that now.

I do have a few issues and maybe someone out there can help me with. I can send the videos, but when I try to pull up a video someone sends me, it says attachment dropped. Called tmobile on this, and they gave me the number to samgsung!!!!!

Sometimes I am not able to view email messages. It comes up with an error. It says that you can set up aol and windows live o the phone, but I have issues with both of them.

if anyone has any of these problems, or knows how to solve them, please let me know!!

Sure when I purchased this phone, I was immediately drawn to it because of the dezign of the phone. However I have been having issues with it ever since I purcahsed it...My biggest issue is the text messaging and the email...My fiance sent me a txt msg at 9am and I didnt receive it until 4:12pm...among several other txt messages I should have received throughout the day. The email does not always work, I havent received emails on my phone today but when i look on the computer, i have new messages(and b4 anyone asks, yes my phone is set up with the email providers) Call tmobile, and they put a help ticket on my account.

The battery Life isnt all that great, I havent used the phone but for 20 minutes already, and I have 1 bar on the phone. Sound quality is ok, but could be better. Sometimes people can barely hear me when we are talking and i have to keep on repeating myself...

I thought that after a couple of days that I would get use to the suretype keyboard, however, I dont like it at all. Sometimes there is a delay when i type, sometimes the letters that i press wont be the letters that appear on the screen. My original plan was to get a sidekick 3 but I got this instead. Fortunately, I am in buyers remorse still, so This will be going back on friday..... GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHOM HAVE THIS PHONE!!!!

those problems u have for email might not be the phone, talk to tmobile cuz there might be a problem with the service or something. i have that same phone and i dont have any of those problems. the battery on mine started bad, but after a few charge cycles it started to last longer. my advice: contact tmobile

i have had my Samsung blast for a year now, and i love it. the battery life is NOT short. and i woudl think if you are having issues, you should contact your carrier, since i have none of the problems you describe!

I thought i was the only one having problems with the battery life and text message.

When i first got the phone i charged it the way tmobile had told me in order for the battery life to last.. it died out midway through the day WITHOUT EVEN USING IT! My text messages were delayed by HOURS and when it came to deleting my outbox it took 3 times to delete and when it would the messages turned into symbols...

Tmobile diagnosed this phone as being dyfected... so they sent me another one... battery life is better but the text are still lagging and turning to symbols. It is def annoying bc i am big texter.

I am still within the buysers remorse, so i am thinking of a blackberry, but i feel that every phone is going to have something wrong with it... any suggestions??
