"Semi Good Phone" on by tcking18
Pros: +: Great for Texting
+: Great Camera-really good shots
+: Easy to use
+: Nice touchscreenCons: -: NO customization
-: A tad heavy
-: Terrible Scrolling
-: Terribly scratch-prone/very very breakable
-: not constructed wellSummary: This phone is a good basic texting phone. I love the full keyboard. The camera is great as well. It is incredibly easy to use; I was able to use it within 2 minutes after opening the box. However, there are very few customization options. Also, the touchscreen scrolling is terrible. My biggest complaint is that this phone feels very fragile. Within 2 days, the slide out keyboard began to feel "shaky" and began to make weird "clicking" noises when I was texting. When I was carrying it in a backpack, an incredibly soft broken pencil tip was able to gouge the screen. Throughout normal daily use, the screen and back covering have become terribly scratched, and the screen is becoming hard to see. Just leaning it on something will result in a scratch. I thought that 1 small drop would completely destroy my Flight. Maybe it is just my phone, but the build quality is terrible. I've had cheaper touchscreen phones for years without getting a terrible scratch like my Flight has.
Bottom Line: This is an ok phone for what it is-easy to use, good for texting, and a surprisingly nice camera. However, the build quality surprised me--it's terrible, at least for my phone. I expect a better product from a company like Samsung. If I was looking to buy a phone like this, I would look at the products from manufacturers like LG first, or maybe a different model. However, this phone has served me well, and I hesitantly recommend it. -

"Potential But Too Many Bugs" on by User2020
Pros: Keyboard
Texting
Battery LifeCons: Scratches Easily (Not Dropped)
Limited Customization
Resetting Alarms
Software Freezing
Limited Volume on SpeakerPhone
Able to Bypass Some PasscodesSummary: This phone would be great if it was not so annoying and littered with bugs. The keypad is great, and the textings is very useful. The main issue is all the bugs involved. The phone freezes at least once per week. Sometimes alarms will reset themselves and not be activated, or they will take another alarm's settings. Then the touch screen can be annoying. Sometimes the screen reacts that an item/button is selected, but the phone will not move to actually start that program/button. Sometimes you can hit the touch screen a few times with the phone visually showing that the button is pushed, but the phone does not select the number or activate the program.

"Phone Power Cycles automatically" on by mike0805
Pros: The keyboard is nice
Cons: Two items:
1. The phone power cycles automatically when sending text messages. Does it about 50% of the time.
2. The sound quality on the phone is not very goodSummary: I've have AT&T (who have been helpful so far) replace the phone with a refurbished model now for the 3rd time. I'll need some other solution from them moving forward. It's obvious to me that this phone has a flaw and giving me a refurbished one that someone else turned in for the same problem (most likely) doesn't really solve the problem.
