"Nice looking but no battery life and cheesey feel" on by lisacp
Pros: Nice look, sound quality
Cons: Cheesey feel, horrible battery life
Summary: Got it the day it released. Great sound quality. Noticed the battery was down 3/4 of the way after 30 min of talk. Recharged. Again 30 min of talk and battery lost 3/4 of charge. Tried again the next 2 days, same thing. Nice look. The phone had a plasticy, chessey light feel to it. Did not feel comfortable with it lasting 24 months. Went ahead and swapped it out with the LG VX8700. That is a sweet phone, as nice as the Gleam, great sound, LG quality and a bit on the sturdier side. Good try from Samsung. Bet the next one holds a charge.

If you want to improve battery life, then turn off ev-do. I had the same issue w/ my LG VX8600. Battery life was ehh....I would've given my phone a 9/10 bc of battery life. But after I turned off ev-do on my phone...inactive battery life doubled. Enough said.<br><br>As for cheesy feel...well...that's up to you, hehe. Sorry to hear about that.
