Pros Beautiful screen, easy to text, apps are "friendly"
Cons The Impression has an "ascending" ring tone and by the time it gets loud enough to hear I have already missed the call. I miss 9 out of 20 calls with this phone and since I am on call this isn't good.
Summary I love this phone except for the ascending ring tone. The voice clarity is exceptional, the screen is amazing...fix this issue AT&T or Samsung and you could have the "perfect" phone!
Pros Spacious keyboard, Beautiful screen, easy to navigate UI, great camera, easy texting, great service, Battery life
Cons No cons for me
Summary This is the greatest phone I've ever had. The phone has 4 different ways to text, so you never get bored when you want to type something (Handwriting, Keyboard, Touch-Screen keyboard, Regular phone style). It has a AMOLED screen which makes it brighter and makes the colors richer without wasting battery. The battery life is great. I got it at around 8AM yesterday and texted alot, played games, ETC and it only went down one bar by around 12:00 AM. Alot of people say the lock button is very tricky but it's really not for me, and if you don't like the lock button just slide it up then close it, it unlocks automatically. This may well be the best phone in AT&T's line-up.
Pros Multiple options for typing a texts (slider keyboard, touchscreen keyboard, standard numeric entry, handwriting), good call quality, quality feel, internet, e-mail, 3MP camera, etc...
Cons Somewhat bulky, no text threading, not as inuitive as iPhone
Summary I have only had this phone for less then 24 hours but I really like it. The call quality is very good as is the reception. My wife is big into texting and she wanted a slider with a keyboard but also the option to text with the standard numeric buttons (while driving, which she shouldn't do). The slide out keyboard is large and the buttons have a very good feel. With this phone you can also use the touchscreen keyboard or the standard numeric keyboard. I find the touchscreen to be a little touchy but I think I will get used to it. I understand that you can do handwriting texting, too, but I haven't tried that. The video review of this phone is pretty accurate and there really isn't a whole lot of downside to this phone other then it is a little bulky, not quite as intuitive as the iPhone 3G which I've had some experience with and it doesn't offer the text threading. I really like being able to check and compose e-mail with my 3G connection but I don't think I like the web browsing experience on this phone as much as the iPhone. I can't comment on the battery life. I really don't think there is anything about this phone that anyone will consider a fatal flaw. It's not perfect but it is a strong competitor and I think most people will be pleased with it's performance. It has a lot of extras and toys that will take some time to explore!Updates:

Battery life has not been an issue for me. My wife has the same phone and complains the battery is drained quickly. She texts a lot more so that may be the difference. I charge my phone every night and it has never gotten below 3 bars. I didn't charge it one night and by the second night it was down to two. I think people need to keep it in perspective what they are asking their phones to do.
Also, I have played with the camera a bit and found that in good lighting the camera takes very good pics. However, the quality quickly degrades in poor lighting.
One bad thing is that the software used to connect your phone to your PC does not come on the included CD! It appears that the only thing that comes on it is some PDF files that contain links to the internet where you can download the software! That just seems really odd to me.
I also purchased a 2GB SD Mini for my wife's phone and a 4GB for my phone.
After a week we both still really love our phones!
Pros Fantastic screen, great interface, i love the favorites widget. It makes dialing/texting your favorite contacts very easy.
Cons Battery life is really small. I really don't understand why they say this screen will save batter life and it ends up being a measly 3 hrs. I wish more thought would have gone into that decision.
Summary The best phone I've ever had but also one of the ones with the least amount of battery life. I'd highly recommend it if you can handle carry a charger with you where ever you go.
Pros Love the screen and the keyboard
Cons The reception is terrible. I bought this phone 3 weeks ago to replace a Razr I have had for years. The Razr got much better reception than the new phone. In fact, I'm probably going to take the phone back because the reception is so bad.
Summary There are so many good things about the phone but they are all outweighed by the terrible reception. I can't even use the phone at work because the reception is so bad. Other workers with the same carrier have no trouble with reception at my desk - in fact I never had trouble with reception at my desk until I got this phone.
