  • "this phone is absolutely horrible! i hate it."

    Pros: nice menu setup
    small but sturdy

    Cons: keyboard letters stick
TOUCHSCREEN NO LONGER WORKS after 8 months
    backlight randomly flashes
    texts will not consistently send

Summary: this phone is horrible. i have had it for barely 8 months and had nothing but problems. when i first saw it i fell in love, it was perfect sized with a slide qwerty keyboard and a touchscreen with awesome graphic presentation. but not too long after my purchase i was being forced to restart my phone because it wouldn't send text messages or call out. i was able to receive calls and texts but not make them.
within the second month though my keyboard itself started to fail. now im not a crazy texter that spends my entire life on my phone so this came as a surprise. but many of my keys will stick and not produce a letter in my message and others come out as multiple letters. its so annoying!
and due to my keyboard going out i have resorted to using the touchscreen keyboard. but now my touchscreen does not work!! i cannot get to my menu see my pictures or do anything really. occasionally my phone will come to life and allow me to check my messages but other than calling the last person that i called and sending texts to people that i know numbers for. my phone is so useless!
i relied on my phone for my alarm clock, which i can't access, my email, my banking, everything is on my phone. and now it is useless. this was the worst investment in my life. many of my friends and relatives have had simlar experiences and i would never reccommend this product.

i agree 100%! my touch screen actually lasted a year and three months (about) but now i can't use the phone at all and i dont get another one for 6 months. I had the same issue as well with having to turn it off all the time and that started just a few days after i purchased mine as well. i will never buy another samsung phone.

My phone did the exact same thing!! I've had mine since last May and I already have my 2nd replacement on the way!! it has an average life span of 5 months. I would strongly discourage anyone from buying this phone. It's fun and pretty but it does not last long at all and once your touchscreen goes out you can not do anything on it except dial phone numbers that you have memorized!! thanks for the honest review!!

ditto for me. i should've returned the phone when the texts weren't going through the 1st few days i've owned it. now i'm over the warranty and had to pony up for the cheapest phone in the at&t lineup just so i have a working phone. my previous phone was also a samsung but didn't experience any lackluster quality problems. after this experience however, samsung is dead to me.

I hate to know that others have suffered like I have, but I know exactly what you have went through. I got this phone originally earlier this year and am getting ready to go get a third one to suffer with until I am eligible for an upgrade. I don't know if it's Samsung that's the problem, but I may be getting another brand with my next one. Too bad Samsung won't give people their money back for this one. Very unreliable device for as much as we rely on these nowadays.

I have had the EXACT same problem with my phone. So, now I'm 'phone-less' for the next 3 days. I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATEEEE this phone, and everything you said I agree!!!!!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STUPID PHONE. It's absolutely pointless, and had been nothing but a pain in my butt since day one!!!!
