"Easy to use, but lacks features."
Pros: Nice look/feel. Easy to use. Spoken GPS driving directions and vibration/tactile feedback.
Cons: Not YET! No tethering (PAM) service, no MP3 alarm or ringtones, no SERO, no WiFi.
Summary: Ease of use is right on. It only takes a few tries to figure out where everything is and how to use it. The cool factor is there with the beautiful (though fingerprint grabbing) touch screen/vibrating interface. The stylus has a hidden pocket on the side of the carrying case for on the go. And even though the stylus will enter the headphone jack, don't shove it into the phone if you want it to continue working. The visual voicemail is nice as are the GPS spoken driving/walking directions w/traffic.
The bad side is that even though it supports DUN (Phone as a modem) over bluetooth/USB, there is not yet a Sprint plan that will allow you to use the feature. It does not support NAI disable (to bypass Sprint's plan restriction stupidity) and does not have WiFi (which the original iPhone can use to tether)
The Instinct does not support any SERO plans yet (meaning a $30/mo plan will cost you $70/mo for the same features).
The Instinct will only work as an alarm with ring tones. MP3s cannot be used as ring tones. Why?!?!?
The phone cannot be used as a phone when charging via the supplied USB cable. It does come with an extra battery however, so you can charge a battery via USB if you have some power in the other.
It also does not run Yahoo Go! yet.
I'll stick with my trusty Samsung A900 till they work out the PAM/SERO issues.

You can't use MP3 as ringtones

I know because I had the $30 Sero plan before I got the Instinct, and I still have it.

You can have mp3 ring tones and use your ring tones for your alarm or calendar reminder. You can buy ring tones by pressing the button in the left top hand corner when looking at the ringers. PLEASE LEARN HOW TO USE TO PHONE COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU REVIEW IT...
