Cons: Won't Sync with Outlook on Calendar and Contacts
Summary: This phone was noted as Windows OS and Receive email from Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003, 2007 and Lotus Notes Domino versions 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0 with our latest software update. It says you and sync with Outlook but after a 1 ½ hours with tech support we couldn’t get it to work. They said that even after you sync with Outlook you still won’t sync Calendar or Contacts.
We did get it to sync with my Outlook Web Access but it will only download 25 e-mails. If you look at contacts it shows only 25 contacts and those are only e-mail contacts for all of the e-mail in the inbox. If Spam e-mail is present in the 25 download – then it will create a contact for the Spam e-mail address.
The Instinct will be good for students, and house wives as long as that is the only calendar and contacts they use. If anyone uses Outlook and this phone then they will have to maintain two separate calendars and contacts. The user manual says you can import contacts but doesn't tell how and tech support doesn't know how.
I am returning my Instinct and looking at a different mode.

This housewife was able to adjust the mailbox to increase the number of email received. I also managed to download ?sprint desktop sync? from sprint website (as directed in the instruction manual) and download all my outlook contacts from home pc including their business card pictures. The Sprint Instinct is very cool product!

If you are smart enough to check the settings on the email you are able to see that you can adjust the size of the mailbox to receive 25, 50, 75, or 100 emails. This is extremely simple to do and takes about 2 seconds. So before you rule out an opinion on a feature make sure you have all the facts. Click on the icon in the top left corner and then click on settings. It'll all be right in front of your eyes.

Students and home makers? <br>This home maker was obviously too bright to buy the instinct and also knows how to spell properly, even though English is only my 2nd of 3 languages. <br>My phone (mogul) and I could probably run a few laps around your intellect!<br>Go back to school!
