"One year and still going strong" on by leesha1977
Pros: I have had this phone for one year and one month and I have absolutely no wear and tear other than some scratches from when I have dropped the phone. The flip screen is sturdy, the keys are intact, the screen is fantastic.
Cons: At times the front display remains back-lit, which wears my battery down more quickly which is fixed by turning phone off and on. It sometimes stalls when I am sending a picture message.
Summary: I can see having this phone for another year. I paid about $150 for it, which is pretty reasonable for the amount of use it has held up to. It has web capability, the texting is fast, and my photos are pretty good.

"Overall good phone," on by ArceaSon
Pros: High quality camera, bad video camera but still better than nothing, decent music player, SD card works with phone easily.
Cons: 100 text message limit for both inbox and outbox, battery dies pretty quickly. Wish there was security; outstrips the motorola Razr in terms of features yet has less security. Sometimes freezes up, but not a big problem.
Summary: Worth buying for calls despite its bad battery. Perhaps a different one would be better. Texting features are limited; I'm shopping for another cricket phone that hopefully does not have the same problems.

"Sleek light weight, bit pricey for what you get." on by tccruzin
Pros: easy to function, nice display...phone is new to me so i will have more to say after some use. i love the back of the phone, its like a thin soft rubber liner feels good to the touch.
Cons: the touch screen only for the rewind, fastforward and play on front cover. no games the high price phone doesn't come with many bells and whisles. ringtones are limited. texting, the T9 sucks you don't get an option of words so you have to back track
Summary: so far, it's a nice phone but if this is one of Crickets top phones then the price is over rated. Also, when i received this phone in the mail I soon realized that i would rather have their Evoke but if you put more than 30 minutes on the phone your stuck with it even if you are willing to pay more money for a better phone and http service...too bad. I guess wireless companies don't need to care because we are fools and put up with their non-sence rules.

"Do not believe CNET's review" on by kpopgrrl
Pros: -Seriously excellent internal screen
-microSD Card slot, takes SDHC cards
-Music and Video Playback
-2mp Camera is excellent (I'm not sure what's CNET's problem with the camera)
-EVDO! (Tether-able)
-For flat keypad it's really easy to dial and textCons: -Browser is really basic wap
-Can't use predictive text in the browser
-Front can scratch easily and fingerprint magnet
-Almost too light weight
-Video recording is average
-Brew OS limits the applications you can get on this phoneSummary: First of all this phone has the best screen I have ever seen in a phone, period. The color depth and clarity are ridiculous for such a "basic" phone. Personally I would not call this phone basic. Since when is 3G (EVDO), a 2mp camera, microSD card slot, music and video play back basic? I agree the browser is lacking but that doesn't really matter when you can tether to another device with bluetooth or cable. In terms of the camera I have been very impressed with it. I think phone camera reviews are something that CNET lacks in. Phones usually do poorly in doors and all the photos they take are in doors. This phone takes excellent photos out doors in sunlight. They don't even look like cell phone pictures.
What I didn't like was the front of the phone is a fingerprint magnet. It can also scratch pretty easily without a case or skin. The phone is very light weight, to the point you might not notice if it slipped out of your pocket. The headset jack also can't take too much pulling and yanking. I had an adapter in there and it eventually damaged the headset jack. I was frustrated that I couldn't use predictive text in the browser but that's what tethering is for I guess. But if you use Cricket's email service this phone is great for that. I wish I could have gotten Opera Mini but Cricket isn't currently offering the Brew version to its customers.
Also, CNET is wrong about this phone being dual band. This phone is tri-band, it includes the 1700 AWS band.
