"User-friendly but erratic and costly." on by caponsacchi
Pros: Relatively easy to figure out. No unnecessary frills--cameras, mp3 players, extra charges for changing the color of the screen (it can't be changed).
Cons: Came without inside power adapter (just the car adapter), then when I was sent one, it was DOA. Battery expires after a couple of days, even with no use. The rate plan soon adds up to the supposedly more expensive plans of premium companies.
Summary: I got sucked in because of disillusionment with the Pantech Breeze. The Jitterbug is more to my style--plain and simple--but battery charge has been erratic, to say the least. Also, the rate plans can be deceptive. I basically need the phone for emergency use but found no way to spend less than $30 per month unless you never have emergencies on the week-ends. So I'm currently paying about $10 per 30-second call (my average use of the phone) and need to move to something more sensible.
