The Bottom Line	For AT&T customers looking for a basic messaging phone, the Samsung Magnet delivers with a slim QWERTY design and affordable price tag.	The Samsung SGH-A187 has all the necessities of a text messaging phone. Although the occasional keyboard inconsistencies are frustrating, it's a solid choice for a good price.	The Samsung Eternity succeeds as a multimedia device, but without Wi-Fi and full e-mail support, it stops well short of being a business-friendly device.	The Samsung Impression isn't perfect, but it ranks high on our list as a messaging and multimedia phone.	If you can live with its variable call quality, the Samsung SGH-A177 is a functional and easy-to-use texting phone. It's affordable and it doesn't require a contract.
