"good compact phone"
Pros: good phone, good battery life (for sprint phones), megapixel camera, good reception
Cons: did anyone notice that this thing is purple? not so good picture quality, odd shaped keys...PURPLE i say PURPLE
Summary: alright boys, here is the definitive review let all others keep their peace after i voice my authoritative opinion.
first things first. if you live in an area where Sprint service is spotty, then for the love God why are you giving a phone review? thats like me saying i live in a the rocky mountains with unpaved roads but i'm going to give a full review on how my Ferarri Scaglietti performs. morons.
battery...this thing is wonderful, close to 5 hourse of talk time on this baby. infact my girlfriend fell asleep before the battery died...no phone i ever had could do that. i was duly impressed. of course if you use the web features and camera features frequently battery life decrease rapidly.
call quality...assuming you live in an area that has Sprint service then you're good to go. excellent reception, at least three bars in the dallas/ft worth area. noice canceling technology sometimes cuts in at the weirdest times. that is annoying, but then so is the boss who calls you ever 5 min for the report that was due yesterday...so maybe not all bad then.
ergonomics...smallest Sprint phone i've seen in awhile. sturdy, smooth and light. although the keypad is kind of oddly shaped. some may like it, some may not.
camera...if you're a camera junking expecting the Madonna and Child to look like original rendition get outta here. for the rest of us, the pictures are of ok quality. nothing to write home about, it could be better but then again it could be a lot worse.
screen...not too bad for a little one. over 200k colors of TFT goodness. except since the phone is small, thus the screen is small, thus the picture of your wife is going to be small and cramped too. but at least you can see the sequins on her dress. screen clarity is a wonderful thing.
thats it boys. after 10 days i returned the purple eyesore to get the sprint a 940, after all, what kind of respectable man would carry a purple phone? however if your a female looking for good camera phone...look no further. until next time

You can bu y different faceplates for this phone at 3gupload.com for skins(stickers thats easier than faceplates and not sticky.) or faceplates(you have to install it yourself or get the sprint guy to do its not that hard.) at daydeal.com
