"This Phone Has It All !!"

by molsky on January 11, 2006

Pros: Great design, live tv, streaming music and mp3's

    Cons: hollow sounding call quality

Summary: CNET is way off on this phone..it is almost perfect. Bluetooth is not crippled, can be used as a modem for EVDO speeds. MP3 player sounds fantastic, no equalizer necessary (try it with the headphones it comes with) Streaming music is simply AMAZING. Because of fast evdo, Sirius Radio and MSPOT Radio have CD quality audio and 20 channels of commercial free music. Lets see IPOD do that !! Plus LIVE TV available..not video clips like that shaddy Verizon Wireless (who cripples everything and even installs their own software on EVERY phone..all menus are Verizon menus no matter what model). I can't belive you rated the RAZR higher then this..comon !!

I was going to get a RAZR, but this has more features, double the battery life, is built stronger (I break my phones for some reason) and even has built-in speakers. The Razr is nice, don't get me wrong, but the new samsung a-900 is even better than the Razr, and this is better than either of those. It isn't thin, but that is a good thing because at least the battery will last more than a day. Awesome quality of the sound too!

the razr is so over rated that people forget to see the wonders that the samsung a920 has, such as front panel music mp3 player
(with a limit of 512 mb trans flash card)
Every other phone only has about 64 od 84 mbs on there phone with is about 14 to 20 songs (depends on wat format of song you use to put on your transflash memory card. FINALLY this phone is the best and i know i have it :) FOR A DAMN GOOD PRICE

While you are right about the bluetooth not being as limited as CNET claims, it is not as open as a Cingular phone with bluetooth. I just bought this phone and tried transferring custom ringtones and pictures via bluetooth and it was forbidden. Perhaps I'll try it on the transflash card.
