Pros -Pretty good camera for what it is. The zoom is terrible but the panoramic and lighting settings are pretty nice.
-holds a lot of pictures before you have to delete any.
-has a variety of ringtones
Cons The phone itself (talk/text/camera):
-battery life degrades after a couple of months
-key lock decides when it wants to work, not you
(CONTINUES IN "SUMMARY")
Summary (CONTINUED FROM CONS)
-buttons on side of phone get in the way when typing and/or talking (perfectly placed where your hands naturally sit)
-voice recognition turns on when you want to use ear phones with media player; no way to disable it
-camera zoom doesn't actually zoom
-can't reprogram/assign keys
-"entering/leaving service area" notifications interrupt or stop whatever you're trying to do
-when sending multiple pictures, you have to exit out of the photos application after EACH picture you want to send/upload or it will send the first picture you sent, multiple times (facebook or text).
-sometimes the browser decides it doesn't want to load (if you exit out and reload a second time it works, same with a lot of links.
-browser will start to load and then stop randomly
-the url's on the bookmarks change randomly sometimes, often times from the mobile site to the non-mobile site
-browser won't recognize that Java IS enabled, won't browse to sites that need it enabled
-can only view a handful of sites that have mobile access; some sites with mobile access don't load
-text messages to the phone stop any internet process; makes any process you're trying to complete (dismissing the text etc.) cause the phone to lag or freeze
-VERY limited bookmark list (only 20 spots to use, one being the Homepage that can not be deleted)
-doesn't resize images of text
Pros QWERTY keyboard was low profile, buttons were not slick at all making it quite easy to text message. Short cuts were easy to set up.
IR button for navigating is a bit sensitive but easier to manage and clean than roller ball in a BB.
Takes great pictu
Cons I went through two phones before canceling service within the 30 day period, which is a shame. I truly enjoyed the phone (my first cell phone in 11 years).
The first phone's IR would have a mind of its own, and begin scrolling nonstop once in a menu at r
Summary With regards to the problems I had with the Restore making outgoing calls on its own:**** Important: I forgot to mention (and I don't know how I forgot this), the first Restore I owned would not power down without powering itself back up. I had to pull the battery every time. The replacement Restore would not stay powered down about 1 out of every 20 attempts to power down. ****
My land line received three calls from my Restore cell number in a row, but there was no one on the line when I answered. Without hanging up my land line, I checked the cell and found it was locked and the line was not picked up. When I talked into the cell, I heard nothing on the land line phone.
This happened with both Restores. When the second phone was making outgoing calls, I called it quits.
It's a shame, because I really enjoyed the phone for what I was using it for.

Pros It looks good.
Cons Impossible to use centimeter square touch button navigation.
Looks stylish, but poorly designed.
Summary This is truly the worst phone I have ever owned. You navigate using a centimeter square touch button. It is extremely sensitive, and when you touch it, it scrolls all around and you spend a lot of time simply trying to select something.
I have had old flip phones from 5 years ago that are more customizable. The only thing you can customize on this phone is the background, ringtone, and carousel. The 'carousel' is a bar of shortcuts, like recent calls. It is extremely hard to navigate it and very annoying to use. The user interface is very poorly designed, and very frustrating.
All of the pre-loaded backgrounds are things like dolphins, and all of the ring tones are nature sounds like birds chirping. It is very hard to add music and photos to the phone, and when you do, you can't even use the songs as your ringtone. After adding a photo, you need to hunt for it in the phone file directory, and then take a screenshot of it and copy it to the internal memory just so you can use it as your background.
Please, save yourself the agony, get another phone.
Cons Poor call quality, Not user friendly
Summary I have had cell phones for the past 10 years, usually getting a new one every year. This is by far the worst phone I have ever had. I am so mad that CNET gave it 3.5 stars when the user reviews appear to be 1.5 stars. The call quality is horrendous. The phone menus are not intuitive at all. If you want to transfer files from your PC you have to go through at least 6 steps including manually turning off the phones ability to take calls. Ridiculously complicated!!!! If Samsung plans to "restore" anything, they should start with restoring this phones ability to actually work.
Pros made from 27% recycled materials
cute exterior design and green color
stores up to 1000 contacts
Cons freezes constantly
randomly powers off
camera is poor quality and backwards
application tabs all require internet
calculator design is poor
the calendar is a pain to get to - especially if all you want to do is check the date
Summary I had it for one week had never dropped it or damaged it in anyway and it would constantly freeze up and I would have to remove the battery to unfreeze. Even after many updates the phone still freezes and powers off randomly.
