Pros: This thing could very well be bullet proof
Easy to use
Good call quality
Not much flash... HOWEVER... you wouldn't want to take a sports car to war if you could have a tank... think of it that way, this phone is all about function.
Summary: This is bar none the strongest phone I have ever seen. I left it in my parking lot one night and had my wife call my phone while I was outside to see if it was in my truck. It was a freezing rain and snow mix kind of night... when I looked down I saw some light coming out of the snow. It was my phoe, completely frozen under about an inch of ice... this thing was working just fine. I live in the city of Chicago. Just dropped this bad boy in the middle of Addison St.. I watched helplessly while it lay there flipped face open to the world. It was flattened by 2 tires of a passing taxi...bouncing around in the wheel well of the cab it flung itself shut and was spit out about 10 feet from the point it was hit... Is that all?? Not for this tank of a cell phone... it was then hit by a passing SUV, again both tires crushing down on it. Then hit again by another SUV and finally hit again by a car. It got sucked up by the back tire of the car where again it banged around in the wheel well and it was finally thrown to the side of the street near my feet. THIS PHONE STILL WORKS. The total of the damage?? Just a few cosmetic scratches and the added weight of the large pair this phone just grew! I love this phone
Outside of the fact it could survive a nuclear winter, this phone doesn't have a heck of a lot in the features department. It supports push to talk (think along the lines of next-tel type communication) However, no one really makes use of this so its useless. The call quality and signal are good and the large speaker does well on speaker phone.
Plain and simple what you get with this phone is a reliable cell phone that has decent tools and call quality (nothing wrong with it that I can find) with the strength of a M1 Abrams tank. If you want a lot of "Apps" and a screen you can stroke forget this phone... if you are going rock climbing in Iraq... then this is your machine.
