"Terrible..MAJOR phone issues with texting & storage!" on by shellbella
Pros: I loved the camera when it did work!
Cons: I have had 4 Samsung Code phones!!! All have had the same issues: Texting quits working within 2 months, says no free storage even when I bought 2 storage cards & my phone quit ringing. Last phone had to pay $85 since Metro PCS said had water damage!
Summary: The last phone was given to me instore from the Metro PCS Corporate Store in Plano, TX. I believe they gave me a damaged phone. So, now after having 3 Samsung Phones replaced with ALL the same problems, I had to pay $85.00 to Assurion to get a new phone. What? Does that sound like customer service? Whoever is in charge of product development with this Samsung Code phone should be reaching out to us customers for feedback. That is vital if they want to stay in business & expand. This phone was not cheap...over $300 when I bought it!!!!! It has so many quirks that have not been worked out yet. Very frustrating as I am paying my cell phone charges to know that my phone has not worked properly for 2 months AGAIN! Now, I am waiting for a replacement AGAIN & hope that it will have a different outcome this time. As a store manager at Metro PCS, how can they be oblivious to these issues? I even asked that to the store manager, Anthony at the Metro PCS corporate store...his response was that he had the same phone & had no issues?? Not very good customer service! As a manager, he should have noted my problems in the system so that Metro PCS knows about these issues. I even asked if they have had other people with same issues & he said "NO." HMMM....that is not what I am hearing on this website.
I never take the time to fill out these surveys but have today in the hopes that it gets back to the top management. There IS AN ISSUE with these Samsung Code phones & is EXTREMELY frustrating to the consumer. -
"Very good phone for MetroPCS" on by gstreetj
Pros: Windows Office, simple to operate, easy email consolidation
Cons: small buttons, crashes if running too many apps-I have had to do hard resets twice in 6 months
Summary: Best phone that MetroPCS has to offer. It is not touch-screen, but with the MS Office built in, it has more features and easily syncs to a Windows PC

"Excellent Phone !!!" on by mfvh
Pros: Good look, size, qwerty keyboard, metroPCS is the best deal around ($50 - all you can eat :) ), apps available, well designed, smart (Windows Mobile 6.1), and solid.
Cons: Only con is battery life when other features like data and gps are used.
Summary: This is a good looking (pictures don't make justice to the Samsung Code), easy to manipulate, thin cell phone. Loaded with Windows Mobile 6.1 there is a lot of applications available (MS-Office, Internet Explorer, Facebook, Netflix, Skype, ...). Excellent sound quality in calls and when playing music. Outstanding camera picture quality (with a lot of fun added). This together with the low priced-full featured plans offered by metroPCS makes a killer combination to all other carriers. Way to go metroPCS !!!

"Great phone!" on by YSantana
Pros: Has Windows Mobile 6.1! I can sync with Outlook 2007 (Outlook Connector). Has a tons of features and gadgets; applic. that come with Blackberry (Pocket Express) and others. I really like the navigation key / jog wheel!
Cons: None as of yet.
Summary: This phone has so many features it's amazing. The calendar is great! Syncs perfectly with Outlook 2007 even if you have Outlook Connector for a "live.com" or hotamil email address. This is a great PDA. I've actually been able to replace my PDA with this phone. The "Task" feature is great, with reminders also. Voice recognition works great (the button is right on the keypad). Screen is a good size. Camera works great. Bluetooth works great with my computer (Vista). Haven't tried the music yet though. MetroPCS provides the Pocket Express incl in the plan (you have to pay extra with Blackberry plan), plus the GPS navigator including traffic info. You can add functions to your keys for items not readily accessible through the main menus on the screen (i.e. I added 'tasks' and 'Windows Live'). There's a "favorites" right on the main menu screen for contacts (if you don't want to use speed dial for example). Some people may not like that the screen always has a menu on it making the wallpaper not completely viewable (you can change the transparency of the menu screen). I don't mind it though. Don't know yet if there's a feature to have a 'clear' screen to see the entire pic. I have gone through every single menu with all it's submenus and am COMPLETELY impressed with this phone and even more so that MetroPCS is providing it. The internet is up and running immediately. Quick navigation, uploads, and downloads. It's a great replacement for a Blackberry. I actually like it better than my husband's Blackberry. The navigation key / jog wheel is amazing! The wheel goes around so you can navigate quickly through the submenus on your screen. You can also click any of the 4 directions to get to the menus you'd like and go from there. The job wheel also works great when surfing internet pages. The sync through the USB cable is completely seemless. I haven't tried Active Sync (XP) / Windows Device Center (Vista) using the Bluetooth yet. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this phone. I didn't give this phone 5 stars because nothing is perfect in this world and I just may find something one day that I don't like about this phone but it sure gets a 5 in my book so far! Get it. You'll love it!
