The Bottom Line The Samsung SCH-A950 is an attractive 3G cell phone with decent features, but some annoying restrictions remain. The Samsung SCH-A930 makes a mostly good showing, but there are better choices in Verizon's EV-DO lineup. The Samsung Rogue is a great multimedia touch-screen messaging phone for Verizon Wireless customers. The Samsung Knack SCH-U310 is one of the best basic phones on the market. If you need a handset for making calls, you can't go wrong. Some minor design issues and multimedia quibbles aside, the Motorola Droid is the most powerful and fastest Google Android device to date. It fully embraces the openness of the Android platform and offers Verizon customers a smartphone that certainly rivals the other touch-screen devices on the market.
