"Very Good Phone"
Pros: Size, Weight, Design, NO Camera
Cons: No Bluetooth, Poor Ring Tones
Summary: All -
I picked mine up last night.(4/20) After about 30 mins of the VZW store trying to figure out how to enter it in their system, I was in line at tech support waiting for them to transfer the information from my old phone to my new N330.
A few things about this phone:
Phone
It is very light. I hardly notice it in my pocket. I wish it came with a holster, or pouch of some sort. The buttons "push" with a solid feel and a "click". Speaker phone works very well - very clear on both ends. It does work with the "slide" closed. I am impressed.
Reception
I do notice slightly decreased reception. For example - with my A530 I had reception in my garage, and when I pulled in last night, my new N330 lost service. Not a big deal to me.
Voice Dial
Very easy to use. It is different from other Samsung models, and I like the way it works. You will have to pick yours up to see what I mean. Basically you can give it a command, then tell it which number to dial - very different from "Voice Tags" used in the past.
Ring Tones
Honestly - they all are awful. There is not even one ring tone that is normal. They are all morphed melodies. Not a good solution for me. I am a businessman, and a phone that doesn't ring like a phone is disappointing.
Overall I really like this phone. If I could create a wish list, the only thing I would ask for would be bluetooth. This seems like a very solid phone, with a funky design - something different for VZW. I have renewed for 2 again, and this phone didn't cost me a dime.
