"Not ergonomicallty designed," on by rhscaggs1

    Pros: Looks good.

Cons: Goes to missed call if you mistakenly touch volume control while opening. See missed calls w/no rings first.

Summary: Hard to open, hold and use.

"OK phone but sorry I picked it" on by b_rad2cool

    Pros: good reception

Cons: rejects calls when trying to get out of my pocket and nothing you can do or adjust will work. Not a phone for a long conversation.

Summary: Find another phone. I have had this phone for 2 years and have been too busy to do anything about it. I wish that I had returned it in the first 30 days. This is my last Samsung!

    "Unreliable device" on by realrevr

Pros: Small form, good battery life

Cons: Cost $10 with contract with AT&T, difficult to open, rejects calls randomly, difficult address book

Summary: We purchased nine of these phones at $10 each, because at the time AT&T did not offer any free phones. The CNet review indicates that this is a decent phone for voice-only, which is all we need it for. However, the phones constantly refuse calls, when no calls are listed in the phone's reject list. This happens on inbound calls from land lines or even from calls within our own plan.

Also, occasionally when a call is inbound and the phone is opened, the call disappears with no dropped or missed call message.

Everyone that was assigned one of these phones at our company hates it. I have been in the process of replacing these phones at my own expense, but not fast enough for the people that rely on it for business.

When you place a call or successfully answer one, the calls seldom drop, and the phone is otherwise very reliable. The battery also lasts a long time, which is likely due to the fact that you avoid using it whenever possible.

"Don't buy this phone" on by kathleenwa

    Pros: cute, decent functionality

    Cons: The address book

Summary: If you take an AT&T sim card from another AT&T phone and put it into this Samsung, not only will the telephone numbers for each contact be deleted if there is more than one telephone number (ie, cell, work, home), but also, if you want to add the telephone numbers back, you have to create a new entry for each contact person (ie, three entries for one person)...this is lame.
