"Best phone I've had so far" on by katrina_shiree
Pros: really thin and lightweight
Cons: charger cover a little hard to open
Summary: Well, I really could go on and on about this little phone, I just love it. I got the grey/black version online, and it's exactly what I wanted. It's thin, lightweight, has a nice camera, and is very stylish. People keep complaining about the keypad...that's one of my favorite features. The keys feel sturdy and are VERY brightly lit. The design also makes them easier to clean than keys with loads of crevices to try to keep gunk-free. The design is amazing. My mom just got the sync, and to me, this phone's better! It looks just like the sync (only less features) but in a smaller, more hand friendly size. And depending what you want in a phone, that's your main concern...talking. I already have a media player, I don't need music or movies on a phone. The camera's also pretty good (just be in high light for best viewing, otherwise it'll be very dark with no flash). Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this phone. And will probably get the same thing when I need a new phone (it's my favorite design/size of any phone I've ever had). My only real gripe is I bite my nails, so I have a lot of trouble getting the charger cover open, which sucks. My old samsung's was bigger. Oh well, I need to grow my nails anyway.

"worst phone I have ever owned" on by saltyd0g56
Pros: big numbers on display when dialing
Cons: phone shuts off when closing lid
Summary: I bought the phone because it displayed large numbers when dialing since I am blind as a bat, but when I complete the call and close the lid the phone shuts off completely. I use my phone as an alarm clock and a meeting reminder which I have missed one meeting and was late for work because my co-workers tried to call me BUT MY PHONE WAS SHUT OFF!!! UGH!!! I doubt I will be purchasing any SAMSUNG products any time soon.

"not great." on by magnoliadj
Pros: nice looking, slender
Cons: slippery, slimey and turns off every time I close it
Summary: I like it because it fits in my back pocket and is gold, but it turns off every time I shut it and the stupid At&t people wouldn't let me return it due to "water damage" which they themselves said could have been caused by humidity!

"LOVE THE PHONE" on by jessicahuff
Pros: Easy to use, love the buttons, great design, love the flip phone design, lightweight, a lot of extras that are easy to use
Cons: Need more memory, outside smudges (no big deal I just do a quick wipe)
Summary: I love this phone!!! I've had about 6 other phones and this is the best so far. I love how easy it is to handle and I love all the features this phone has. Plus my teen daughters have had fun recording ringtones instead of downloading them. I haven't had not one dropped call and can hear everyone perfectly. Places that I normally don't have service, this phone has picked it up. I am in the process of buying all three of my daughters this same phone. Thankfully it comes in several different colors!!! This would make a great phone for teens too. I've dropped mine I don't know how many times and not a scratch on it.

"After a month of use, this phone is just ok." on by Denisellen
Pros: light, thin, easy to use
Cons: phone is not capable of bluetooth pairing with PDA or laptop, sound quality, very bad speakerphone quality
Summary: Have had this phone for a month now. It is nothing special. It is nicely lightweight and thin. Features are very basic, but is easy to use. The sound quality when listening to a caller is just ok. It has a speakerphone but the quality is pretty bad - continuous, loud background hiss. Your choice of downloadable ringtones supported by this phone are quite limited. But I don't have any problem with the flat, somewhat slick keypad as mentioned in the CNET video. A very disappointing feature is that it's NOT capable of bluetooth pairing with a PDA or laptop/computer. It only will pair with a handsfree headset (I checked with Samsung about this). However, my Motorolla H700 headset pairs great, and stays paired. In hindsight I would choose another phone - and am thinking of trading this one in for another type.
