"Great, small Samsung slider"
Pros: very loud speaker, signal strength with 3G, good battery
Cons: menu system, text message storage, screen, music player
Summary: I bought this phone as a backup so I don't have to worry about damaging my Blackjack II. I like that the phone is pretty small and durable and has decent battery life. Also the sound quality, both for the music player and during calls is very clear.
Screen could be better, it's very fuzzy and makes the pictures you take with the built-in camera worse than they really are. Once you take the photos off the phone, they actually look pretty good.
I'm not a fan of the menu system, although that is AT&T's fault more than Samsung. Also, when texting, why doesn't the phone erase the old ones automatically once you fill the memory? The phone just tells you to delete some when new texts come in. On the positive side, I do like that the phone lets you have custom ringtones for messages, not just for the ringer.
