"Sound is warbled so bad I have to ask for repeat" on by jackt0402
Pros: Clean simple design. Small, Menus Easy to Follow
Cons: Terrible sound reproduction
Summary: I am returning my third one to get another brand. This phone replaced my r225 which was in my opinion a superior no-frills phone. Unfortunately, the pocket it was in filled with water, and I continued to have problems with it. So, I elected to purchase the c225 which is almost identical except addl features and a color screen. Unfortunately, there is a lot of digital BEEP-BEEP background noise and the sound reproduction from the speaker is severely warbled, so much that I often have to ask the person on the other end to repeat. This happens at volume level required for use in a moving car. I have exchanged twice and this is my third one, all with the same symptoms. It is not the service, location, nor the numbers I call that do this because I have not been able to duplicate the problems with other phones--even my old r225 when it is working. This one is going back for exchange for another brand. Sorry, Samsung. I really liked the r225.

"Wish I hadn't bought this one." on by My2cents
Pros: Lightweight, small
Cons: Terrible reception, long voice delay, etc., etc, etc...
Summary: I bought this as a cheapie replacement to a stolen phone. I cannot express how disappointed I am! The voice delay over calls is ridiculous, and the reception is incredibly poor and warbled. I have had people tell me that they can only hear every other word I say, and generally when I receive a call I simply tell them that I will call them back on a land line. It's not my cell service; I never had a problem with that until this phone! Avoid this one, unless you only keep a phone for use in emergecies!

"Good quality product with great reception." on
Pros: Great reception and clarity compared to what I had before.
Cons: Lack of selection for ring tones and built-in wallpaper.

"Great phone with all you need and useless extras!" on
Pros: I had a Samsung R225m for 18 months. It was dropped on several occations and I used it a lot! I looked at and researched much more expensive and feature rich phones, but in reality I made an excellent buy with this phone. I need a phone where I can dial
Cons: Need to have a tight belt clip for securing the phone. The volume control on the side of the phone can interfere with certain holders The ring tones are irritating. What ever happened to a subtle ring?

"Has what you need and not alot of what you don't" on
Pros: small form factor, nice clear screen, fun menus, clear ringtones. basically, an r225m with color screen and better battery life. you just can't go wrong with this phone. it's a shame that most people going to activate a new line pass this one by. it's trul
Cons: none that i can think of except the brainiac who writes a review and says it sucks and clearly doesn't even know the phone. i can at least comment on the i860 (left nextel for t-mobile) and i can say first hand that that phone truly sucks.
