"Don't believe the poor reviews/Cnet video! Awesome phone"

    by Tech-it on February 15, 2006

Pros: Call Quality, Battery Life, Screen Visibility, SMS and IM Ease, Calender Entry, Light Weight, No Crappy Camera!, Outer Screen is high res for B&W and displays alerts and caller info. Great Design

Cons: Only Available from Cingular - Data Rates are out of this world and slow data transfer.

Summary: This phone has some very strong features. First and foremost is call quality. Unbeatable in this area -- it is the best. Second is the Keyboard design. This allows for SMS and IM ease. Calender Entry and alarms are a breeze. To do list is a nice feature. Battery life is extremely good can go for many days w/o a charge. PHone is not as big/bulky as it may appear in fact it is extremely lightweight.

    In phone mode-
Big bright Numbers when calling. On the keypad, only phone keys light up so its very easy to use. Great voice recognition software

    In Landscape-
Soft keys are not where video girl said they are in bottom row. She is also very very wrong about nav key position they are in lower right side no overlap with letters! Pressing individual keys is a snap. All keys are illuminated. Speakerphone is incredible quality - loud and clear with full duplex!

Overall this phone is a 9 but because of unfair reviews i give it a ten.
Common complaints I've read are no WAP in landscape, no good Email Client, no phone book entry. Hard to navigate in general.

Well guess what WAP blows to begin with and Cingular data is too exspensive -- buy a wifi laptop people! Phone is a phone and is great- not trying to be a computer!!! Also read the manual for 15 minutes before you touch a single button and you will master the phone!

If you want a phone with great call quality, great messaging, speaker phone, voice recognition that actually works, calender with alarms and to do lists using a great QWERTY keyboard than do not hesitate to get this!

How in the world are you supposed to give a clear and confident review of a product without sounding biased?? THIS person may or may not be a company rep - but the facts are still the same - an unbiased review doesn't exist - you like something or you don't - go back and read it again. THIS is a PHONE people - not a PC! I just ordered this phone based on the general consensus of reviews.

this post should be pulled for its misrepresentation. '10' - give me a break. It's usability is simply bad.
