"Great Phone 1 Flaw"
Pros: small, light, great camera, good video, external photo caller id, helpful status light
Cons: sound quality could be better
Summary: I really enjoy this phone. It is small and lightweight.
The sound quality could be better, but it's not horrible. It sounds like most other Samsungs. Contrary to other reviews, I never have to repeat myself or ask others to repeat themselves.
The flashing light on the outside is helpful. It flashes to indicate service and when there's a text message waiting the flashing is more rapid.
Photo caller id is available through caller groups, meaning only 10 names can have it. But considering that you need to have pictures of all these people saved onto your phone, 10 is enough.
The keypad is awesome. It is flush with the back of the phone, so when you brush your fingers over the keys you can hardly tell they're there. They are easy to push and big enough so you don't accidently hit the wrong buttons. Text messaging is very easy to do from this phone.
Standby time is great but talk time is not. Playing games drains the battery just as fast as talking. You can still talk almost constantly for one and a half days before the phone tells you to recharge.
