"Tiny size but not built very well..."
Pros: Tiny size, good camera, good reception, nice slider
Cons: Too much creaking, no 'on the fly' ringer choice/volume, poor ringer selection, terrible placement of camera lens.
Summary: I've had this Samsung E635 for almost 2 weeks and I'm taking it back today. It's such a cool looking phone that I had to snap it up. The phone is all plastic and very light, which was not so bad but the problem happens when you press the menu keys when the slider is closed. The phone creaks and makes noise, that's because the construction is pretty shoddy. I thought I could overlook it but it's my main reason for taking it back, this is my second one because the first was the same. More bad, the camera lens is located on the back on a spot where your fingers naturally get in the way, so you have to move your fingers to take a pic. The flash-light is poor but the quality of the VGA pic and the ability to zoom is nice! There are about 20 ringers and all suck! There was one called "Space" which was the best. The other thing I did not like was that in order to switch ringer volumes you have to go to the menu, look for it and change it. There are no shortcuts for this and that is also very annoying. I love the size of the phone, the screen is pretty small but nice and bright. The quality of calls is also nice. No Bluetooth
Overall a neet phone looks-wise but very impractical for everyday use.
