"CNET EDITOR IS WRONG WHEN IT COMES TO THE T619" on by Junglemanspath

Pros: Looks great! Many functions. Get more then your moneys worth

Cons: Front display may be a little small if you wear glasses and don't have the on.

Summary: Cnet Editor, shame on you! By the time Cnet reviewed this phone there were already 6 reviews from people that have owned and used the phone. EVERY review was 8 or higher with the exception of one. Cnet editor Kent German puts down the keypad. I was amazed that the well researched raised and uniquely shaped numbers were perfect for my big fingers. The 1.3 camera with Auto light function was not even mentioned in the Cnet editors comments. This editor left out so much it makes me wonder if he even used the phone. If you are considering this phone I would go with what the people say on this one. Even other opinion sites rate this phone higher. I have had mobile phones since the Analog car phone was released to the public and a hand held was considered a 30 pound battery pack you would sling over your shoulder. I read how Cnet is suppose to rate phones and I strongly believe this this editors opinion missed the ballpark by 7 off ramps. GO WITH THE PEOPLES OPINIONS ON THIS PHONE. IT'S AWESOME, CLEAN, SMART LOOKING, PACKED WITH FEATURES AND HAS ALL THE HIGH TECH FEATURES BEING OFFERED FOR PHONES 4 TIMES ITS COST. OH CNET YOU MISSED THE MARK ON THIS PHONE. Maybe there is a reason the people that actually own the phone and use it daily rated it so high. I highly recommend the phone and the awesome wireless capability it offers with the free software you can get from the Samsung site.

It's now 2009 and I still don't want to give up this phone! I totally agree with you! I did not read CNET's review yet, but cannot believe they wouldn't like this phone! Samsung is definitely the better manufacturer - my next phone will be a Samsung - on its way! This phone maybe dropped 1 call per year, browsed the web T-Zones for 5.99/mo, great speaker phone, texting, pic texting, I could just go on & on...still a great phone in 2009~!!!

I agree with you 100% on this, I was shocked to see this phone get a 6.6, and how he seemed to badmouth it that it wasn't a super-duper-amazing phone. I mean, it is near free with 2yr contract. Have several friends with it, and they love it to death. Right on, well recommended.

i was wondering if you connected the phone to the comptuer, if so how? with what products, where i could buy them at, and what can you do once you connect them( can you add mp3's to the phone from the computer)? Thanks

I'm thinking of buying this phone, but I've heard that Sanyo makes higher quality phones. I'm looking at the Sanyo 6600 Katana, but I like the size of this Samsung.
Any thoughts on quality between the two manufactures?
Any comment would help!
Thanks
