The Bottom Line If you don't need the features of a full-fledged smart phone but crave the push e-mail capabilities, the BlackBerry Connect-enabled Samsung SGH-T719 is a good place to start; just be prepared to be frustrated by the SureType keyboard. The Samsung SGH-T339 isn't a bad T-Mobile HotSpot @Home phone but there are better options available. The sexy Samsung Blast SGH-T729 is a great messaging phone with good call quality, but we were hoping for a speedier data network as well. The Sony Ericsson TM506 has a couple of faults, but it's broad 3G support and integrated GPS makes it a welcome addition to T-Mobile's lineup. The Samsung SGH-T229 has unique design touches and pleasant call quality but it wouldn't be our first choice for a low-end T-Mobile camera phone.
