"Adult Virgin Mobile customers - this is your cell phone" on by Alvin English
Pros: Good incoming and outgoing voice quality (via SPRINT network). Bluetooth works very well. It looks good, you won't be ashamed to pull this phone out of your pocket or purse. The slider feels good to the touch - real quality of design and build.
Cons: I could knock it for not having more features, but then it would cost more. The quality of the camera is poor - just look at the specs. I don't like the flimsy plastic piece that covers the charging port.
Summary: This cell phone is made exclusively for Virgin Mobile (VM). Virgin Mobile is known for two things: very good cell phone service and trashy hardware (excuse me - plastic ware).
This is the only VM cell phone that I would recommend to adults. It is basic phone that is well designed. You will like the feel of this phone when it slides open.
I paired this phone with the Aliph Jawbone 2 Bluetooth Headset - it works flawlessly.
Bottomline: If you are a VM customer, this is easily the highest quality phone in their line-up.
Thank you Virgin Mobile for FINNALY giving us a decent cell phone. -
"Samsung always made good products" on by Mysterydude08
Pros: Battery life, Reception, Ease of use, Solid features.
Cons: Not much third party accessories, the picture quality is not promising.
Summary: VM has made slider phones before from Kyocera, it just seems as though this slider is a breakthough. Why you ask, well it is simple; yes Kyocera was VM first slider phone to be released donkey years ago but not entirely successful as Samsung Slash. But I have to admit I was a tad bit close to owning a Kyocera Slider Sonic in the past, bit I am certainly happy I own this Slash this time.
I have indeed own a capable bluetooth from General Electric that I have paired with my samsung that works brilliantly, and sadly the con above mentioned that the picture quality is not that great; I have seen cheaper camera phones with great quality that the Slash. But you also got to mention that this is not the most powerful slider phone available through VM currently, you save about 10 dollars more and you can happly own a UTStarcom Shuttle with 3G Speed.
On the hole, the Samsung Slash doesn't hold back in power wise, it's a good multimedia phone for internet uses, it makes great calls, and you will not be let down with the money you spend on this phone. -
"Love this phone :D" on by aintawerd02
Pros: Loud Speaker, Bright screen,
Cons: Battery charge could be a little bit better, but i have to admit it's better than all the previous phones I've owned. I've gone about 3 days without needing a charge on it.
Summary: I just bought this phone because I hated my monthly plan, and I have to admit that I love it! The plans are very afforadable and much cheaper than a monthly plan. This phone is also great, I really like it. The slider design is very stylish and fun to show off to people and it comes with Virgin Mobile's service which is great as well.
