"Good phone with TERRIBLE CALL QUALITY" on by belligerentfuture

    Pros: Great battery life
    Simple interface
    Great reception
    Sturdy (can survive being dropped)
    Doesn't dial people randomly

    Cons: VOICE QUALITY ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE
Voice command button gets triggered in your pocket easily, but it starts talking to you so you figure it out quickly

    Summary: VOICE QUALITY: 0/5
This phone has a MAJOR problem with voice quality. It is bad when talking to landlines, and if you use bluetooth, a person on a landline will be asking you to repeat yourself all the time even though you can hear them perfectly. But that is not NEARLY as bad as when you are talking mobile-to-mobile....you won't be able to understand a lot of what the other caller is saying, and they won't hear most of what you are saying. The words get chopped up and one word answers can be totally lost.

BUT THE WORST THING is when you are talking to another person on a Samsung Smooth--this is important if you are thinking of getting this phone on a family plan. I thought the quality of the phone wasn't too too bad for a while, and that it was just certain people having hearing problems, and then I started talking to another person with a Smooth--OH MY GOD its AWFUL. It is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to hold a conversation. I am actually on CNET right now looking for phones to replace this one.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO USE IT TO TALK TO PEOPLE!

"a flip that allowas addresses in contacts" on by scificats

Pros: a flip phone survives bumps and scrapes, and this was the only flip that allowas addresses in contacts, from the homework i did with verison, my phone company.

Cons: it takes a little longer to type info in, but so what, i am not a texting person.

Summary: i like it for ability to put addresses in contacts - its easy to carry, drop, treat not so great, and still it survives with its own "case", the flip lid.
