"A good basic phone"5.0 starson by dave1973
Pros: excellent reception, good battery life
Cons: menu not as easy to navigate
Summary: I'm doing this review on behalf of my mother, who owns this phone. She got this phone to replace the LG VX5500, which went back after 2 weeks. She got it to overall replace her Samsung SCH-a870, that finally quit working. This phone has better battery life than her a870, though that phone didn't have terrible battery life. Reception is great, and makes calls where she thought it wouldn't. She doesn't need the bells & whistles, so she likes that it's a bare minimum phone. She wishes it didn't have a camera, but that's basically standard these days. She uses the alarm clock, though i find it an annoying feature. Her phone has a good vibrator, compared to my Motorola W755 (my current phone).
Her only complaint has been the navigation menu has changed from her last phone. She doesn't like change, and wishes that it was like her Samsung a870.
She overall isn't complaining about this phone, like she did with the LG VX5500, which will have its own review.
For someone who needs a basic phone, this will meet most of your needs. If you need one with a music player, Vcast, & a slot for a memory card, then this phone isn't for you.
