Pros: Mine is about 2.5 years old, and it's been working great since I got it. Dropped several times, and all it had was scratches.
Cons: The desk charger scratches the contact on the battery and can cause charging problems (flashing yellow light). Need to clean the battery contacts every few months.

Summary: I currently have 12 of these phones with chargers, and 1 of them is still brand new, and never used! They are rated to be very reliable and durable!

Pros: Great design, very durable, works very well
Cons: No color screen or camera
Summary: This was my first phone with Sprint. Got it in 2001 or so and loved it for 2 years until it was stolen. I have no doubt that I'd still have this phone now and it would be working perfectly if that hadn't happened.
Very sturdy and durable. Great basic phone. I loved the flip up design and the color of the blue one.
Good sound quality and reception.
The Sanyo SPC-8100 I replaced it with was a piece of crap. Broke twice so I got a friend's old Samsung VGA 1000. I think I'll be sticking with Samsung from now on. -

Pros: The day my warranty ran out, I got thrown in a pool with this phone in my pocket. Snatched it (soaking) out of my pants, took battery off and let it dry out for a day -and it worked just fine. Has bumped it's way down ski runs, been drop kicked and abused
Cons: The Samsung holder for this phone made by Radio Shack is total crap - cheap thin plastic where the clamshell folds over can wear out in a couple of weeks - not what $75 should get you for a holder - then the holder's thin metal tension spring breaks. If I

"This phone is pretty cool but it dosen't have games!" on
Pros: It has name ringers, internet, and its not chunky.
Cons: This phone dosen't have games and it only vibrates if you have your ringer on high volume or just vibrate. Also you can't change the faceplate :-(
