"Good phone for first time touch screen user!" on by clbre
Pros: Texting is very easy, navigation is easy, very customizable
Cons: Somewhat small, no threaded texts
Summary: I have tried several touch screen phones and could not get the hang of them. This is the first touch screen phone I've been able to text on rather than having to back track each time I typed a word. I text a lot so this is important to me. The phone calls seem clear and the phone is pretty neat in general! Excited for when some skins come out to cover it!

"Nice phone except in sunlight" on by whatshernrame
Pros: Good call quality, great battery life, user friendly, small, easy to text.
Cons: Cannot see the touch screen at all in the sunlight, and barely at all in the shade. I can only use the phone indoors - this would not work too well if I got stranded in the car somewhere... as it's hard to see it in the car also! Any suggestions?
Summary: This would be a perfect phone if it were not for the fact that I cannot see the touchscreen while outside.

"The worst phone I have ever owned." on by gChinkin
Pros: Lightweight, aesthetics, decent camera, cheap.
Cons: The touchscreen, slow to respond + very laggy, only holds 200 messages, SMS lags (it takes me an extra 2 minutes to receive a message, making conversations impossible to conduct via texting).
Summary: The phone overall is durable, has a nice camera, and offers basic features such as recording videos, taking pictures, writing memos, sound recording, and MMS texting (these are pretty much the only ones I use).
There are many issues with this phone. First of all, its processor cannot keep up with the touchscreen, and constantly lags or ignores touches. I'm talking about a 0.5 ish second lag (consistently). Second of all, the touch screen is pressure-sensitive, so it can be triggered by anything that pushes hard enough (such as in your pocket).
Another huge issue with it is texting capabilities. The Sunburst deserves a straight 0/5 in this category: the touchscreen is not nearly sensitive or accurate enough for it's keyboard, every letter lags so you don't know what you're typing, and finally, all texts come in about 2 minutes behind schedule. This is most likely due to the fact that the phone can only store 200 messages in the inbox, and so automatically deletes one every time a new message comes in. In turn, it's crappy processor takes forever, so you end up with a super slow and aggravating phone for texting.
I have owned a Motorola SLVR and a Sony Ericsson Z750, both of which were much better than this phone. I am thinking of selling (or throwing out) this phone and getting a new one, and I've only owned it about 4 months. -
"Love this little phone!" on by fordking17
Pros: Lightweight, yet durable (those posters stating that is cheap are wrong) love the widget feature...just tap the screen and the widgets appear, you then "pull" one out, do your thang, then "push" it back over when your done.
Cons: 1. no threaded text 2. you can't "send" from the landscape position, always having to turn it upright i know i'll drop it eventually!
Summary: I love that it's small but i that i can hit the "mark" almost every time while texting and dialing as i have fat fingers (when i first tried it , i said "no way" are my fat fingers gonna hit the right button with any regularity). and i really dig the widget feature and the three customizable screens. SAMSUNG phone are the best my wife just got the CAPTIVATE and it's better than the iphone!
