"Awesome phone!"
Pros: Large screen for great display. Great clarity on all calls. Lightweight.
Cons: No area on the phone to open the slider. Easy to smudge up the screen with fingerprints
Summary: I always spend a lot of time researching products before making a final decision and I read almost every review that I could on this phone. The one thing that I kept coming across in all "con" remarks was the fact that the phone was slow upon texting or when wanting to flip from one operation to the next. I really have not experienced this at all. Sure, if you are trying to shut down your new text message while making a phone call there will be a small delay, but overall the phone is not as slow as everyone is making it out to be. The one thing I find about any negative write up is the fact that the user is almost always going into the purchase expecting more out of the product then what it is intended. If you are looking to make phone calls and text then this phone will go above and beyond your expectations of the "none blackberry status" cell phone. It sucks now with Verizon because all of the great phones are all PDA's or smartphones and you HAVE TO purchase a data plan with any PDA or smartphone purchase now. It seems that Verizon is starting to make a push to have more touch-screen phones as well, but if you talk to any Verizon store they do not recommend too many of these style phones since they have major software issues still. The Samsung Sway is one of the few, none Motorolla phones that kicks a**!
It has a nice larger screen size on it which is great for reading texts and viewing pics. The menu is laid out differently on this phone then most Verizon phones and makes you feel like you have a PDA or smartphone. The call clarity is amazing and I have not experienced the "tin can" syndrome with any calls. The texting can be a tad slower then what you are used to, but nowhere near the extreme that people are making it. If you are someone who wants to sit around all day long and text every single friend you have then you SHOULD be buying a texting phone like the Env2, Glyde or Voyager. I wish that people would actually buy the phone for the intended purposes. This phone is a perfect slider phone and as now I have no complaints worth writing about.

I appreciate your review; I've been reading a lot of Sway reviews and your review/experiences with the phone was very helpful to me; addressed my concerns. Thank you.
