"Excellent phone if you're looking for essentials"
Pros: Sound quality is great
Big, vibrant display
Takes quality pictures
Excellent menu graphics/navigation
Sleek, stylish design
Good utility packageCons: Takes a little while to get used to sliding the phone open, especially after using a flip phone for years.
Summary: For me, buying a phone comes down to 1. Call clarity and reception 2. Quality camera (for a phone) 3. Style/design (including menu) and 4. Features/Tools
I don't need a lot of extras like media center (which it has anyway), web browsing, gps navigation, etc... The simplicity, dependability, and style combine to make this a great buy for anyone who doesn't need or want a smart phone.
Having said that, I'm not sure if my rating is slightly exaggerated due to the fact that I've been stuck with a god-awful first gen razor for 2 years. :)

I'm also trying to step up from a Razr, so this review is helpful. I'm seriously considering this phone (although I might really miss the flip function!). Seems simple and solid.
