"Really Happy"
Pros: Great feature set for the price. On top of the standard features, I wanted blue tooth, voice recognition, and GPS capabilities in a Sanyo that feels comfortable in my pocket. Camera and looks are nice-to-haves for me.
Cons: This phone doesn't appear to have the ruggedness of the two Sanyos I've owned, but I've not yet put it to test, so I'm holding off on a full five star rating!
Summary: I wanted a Sanyo because I've owned two low-end Sanyos - each lasted more than the two-year contract, and I tend to drop phones. The worst that would happen is, one one of them, the battery would fly off. A simple clicking back in place and all was fine. Two sales people told me to stear clear of entry level Samsungs, so hear I am.
Beyond that - I talk a lot whild driving, so I really wanted blue tooth and voice recognition. Both work great. The texting program is good (I coldn't have a full keypad - size took priority). Battery live seems great thus far.
A couple of settings I'd love to see.
1) the ability to set the soft keys to whatever function I want. I don't have a data plan, so designating one of them to "Favorites" is a drawback.
2) I'd like to be able to set the keypad light to stay on for a longer periods of time. Perhaps similar to the options provided for the main screen. Too often I'm trying to find the "End" or "Talk" key in the dark (yes - whiile driving).
