"After 6 months, I love this phoen"
Pros: Great speakerphone, good web browsing, sturdy for a flip phone, easy to learn to use
Cons: The battery is a joke - count on replacing it with an upgrade in a few months, the buttons could be better, Chihuahuas think it's tastey.
Summary: Okay, I bought this phone about six months ago. The only reason I bought a flip phone was because CNet said this phone had a great speakerphone feature. They were right.
The good stuff first: I clip it to my seatbelt & talk Star-Trek style & the person on the other end has no idea they're on speaker (lots of fun when my wife is singing to me over the phone & friends are in the car.)
I play Ms. Pac-Man & a couple of other games from time to time & the games don't have the choppiness my other phones have had. Nice!
The display is bright & easier to read than most.
The camera phone, which I thought was just plain stupid, has turned out to be quite useful at work (emailing pictures of damaged materials directly to suppliers at the moment the merchandise arrives... you have no idea how much time this saves compared to pulling out a digital, uploading to my PC, emailing...) Granted, the pics are pretty low quality, but they're good enough.
More camera fun... take a picture of your wife & assign it to her phone number... When she calls, instead of having to read names & numbers, there's a pretty picture to let you know who called.
If you go to Quallcom's website, you can download simple software that will allow you to record custom ringers for your phone. When my wife calls, it's her voice telling me to pick up the phone... someone calls from the house line & it's our chihuahuas barking & howling. People get a big kick out of it. It doesn't have to be voices, though. It can be any sound file you can get onto your computer. This feature is good with any Quallcom based phone, I guess. The files have to be uploaded to pcspix.com to load them to your phone.
Sprint has made it so that all their new phones use a standard charger, so if you have a spouse with a Sprint Phone, both phones will use the same charger! Wahoo! 'Bout friggin time!
The cons: The key pad is almost perfectly smooth, so it's sometimes hard to dial by touch alone. Many new phones have this problem, or strangely aligned keypads, so I had to overlook it when I bought it.
The battery, which was never great, is barely functioning now. Take note, though... I go through about 1700 minutes a month & use the internet feature often. You'll probably get better battery life than I do. Phones I bought 10 years ago seemed to last longer!
No easy way to sync this phone to your computer data, so all address/phone number entry has to be done the hard way.
The shiney finish scratches easily, so buy a case.
Hope this helps!

I bought this phone 8 months ago because the salesperson said it was great and everybody that worked for sprint had one.
Well now the phone won't except any phone calls, texts or voicemail messages. Its completely froze the only buttons that work are the 2 and 3.
I have to use this phone for work. I ended up not even bringing it the past few days.
