Cons: no camera, shorter battery life than expected
Summary: This is a perfect phone in terms of users that just want a phone for basic voice and business applications features. The dual antennas boost great coverage. The ptt texting is handy, but the ptt "voicemail" also known as voice sms is real usefull to other qchat devices. This is a no-nonsense business phone and you will like the contact mobile sync! Wish it had a camera though, but not a biggie..

Pros: It's light, easy to use, versatile, looks sharp, and does what I need it to do; make and receive calls.
Cons: The battery life is terrible with normal use, call quality questionable, speakerphone can be picky, text key is poorly utilized, keys not raised enough, and with how often I have to charge this thing, I worry about the durability of the dust covers.
Summary: I came from a candy bar Sanyo 4930 and had not upgraded in 4 years, but that's how long that phone (and battery) lasted. I chose this phone because all I wanted was something that made and received calls and would text efficiently. I really like the look and size of it and was happy with a nice colorful display. It texts easily and is very user programmable. The four way toggle is directly connected to text, calendar, content, (and to the rest of the menu indirectly) and direct connect. I love how I can close the phone and still be able to use it (speakerphone or hands free). Calls seem to be of normal quality though some almost seem worse than the 4930. The cons have to start with the battery life. Maybe I'm coming from a bigger phone battery but I can't go 48 hours without having to charge it back up under normal use (couple of texts and a few calls with vibrate on). I was expecting it, with the 5 day idle lifespan, to be better. Now I have to limit display on time, vibrate mode, and contrast to settings I would not normally want. The text button should go to the text menu to read, send, or edit texts but it instead goes to contacts to send only. Kind of a waste of a button if you ask me. The speaker phone seems to almost require complete silence on at least the other end to have your friend hear you, but then sometimes is ok with a little white noise. I also wish the digits were raised a little more. Overall I like the phone and I would recommend it as the charging frequency is not the worst thing in the world, and neither are the other issues.

Pros: Nice innerface - and features
Cons: Power management is horrible. Battery discharges even in power save mode - with on you can't read display in the sun and see the numbers in the dark. Too long to charge and charge is not held. Reduces ability to use the phone and explore features
Summary: Expect a phone to keep charge in standby up to 3 days - opening this phone and then using for 10-15 minutes kills the battery. Not usefull in a business situation. One co-worker suggested getting an extension cord to keep the phone running.
Phone goes directly to - you need to charge and then dies. -

Pros: -Monochrome external display (easy to read anywhere)

-To nitpick, call quality could be a little more refined. Earpiece volume seems to fluctuate with certain callers.Summary: I only use my cell phone for voicecalls and texting (no DC, no web) and this phone has been serving me great for the past several months. It isn?t flashy, but is very likable to carry around every day. I have had other cell phones that seemed more stylish at first, but I always get sick of the shiny phones that show fingerprints and external displays that try to do too much. The understated, but handsome Pro-200 was the perfect antidote. I haven?t experienced anything annoying or any bugs whatsoever with this phone.
I have to admit I liked the call quality on my previous Moto VE20 just a little better because it seemed a little more refined in its voice reproduction and I liked the side tone (having an echo of your own voice in the earpiece like on landlines). Nonetheless, the call quality on the Pro-200 is still very clear, has good voice transmission that is free of static or choppiness, and a good range of volumes (from relatively quiet to very loud). I frequently use an old-school, wired, call-center style headset for work-related calls, which works great (the Panasonic KX-TCA60, available for about $12 online ? highly recommended for its superb voice quality).
If you have the MSL, you can disable EVDO, which also disables Direct Connect, but gives you better battery life (because the phone isn?t constantly looking for that signal).
Press ##DATA#. Go to Advanced, then Edit. Enter your MSL. On the first menu that appears, go all the way to the bottom and select *More. On the next menu that appears select 9 Hybrid Mode. Then you have 3 options; you can select either Hybrid Mode (the pre-set option), 1x Only Mode, or EVDO mode. Select 1x Only Mode. Now the up and down arrow icons that show EVDO activity no longer appear on the phone and the "Direct Connect Unavailable" icon always appears. This increases battery life noticeably.
