"Great phone"
Pros: very nice reception, sturdy phone, very manly, very clear sound, easy to press keys, big screen, keys will never fade
Cons: key guard has to be used! Record button placed weirdly!
Summary: key guard has to be used in this phone!! It does end up pressing several numbers if not used...but the numbers are always one number pressed several times...;like 333333333333333333333333333, or 444444444444444 etc NOT 911 :o)as one reviewer points out!
Record button on the left side, its a pain sometimes if keyguard is not used, and especially if the phone is in your pocket. So, do not put the phone in pocket, try buying a case!
Very sturdy phone, especially because of the casing on the sides. I have dropped my phone several times accidentally, but there has never been a problem. Gives a manly look to the phone! (I think ladies should avoid this phone).
Has a very nice reception, though my SANYO 4900 had a better reception! Gets me signal all the places where others do not get it!
The sound is very clear compared to several other phones like samsung, motorolla, nokia etc...
The letters are embedded deep in the keys! So use as much and keys will not fade! There is no plastic cover over the keys!
One down side is with Sprint though. They dint any games in this handset. Sanyo 4900 came with two games. However, if you use this phone as a phone, I think I will never dislike this phone. It gives me what I bought it for.
If you want a camera in the phone, buy a camera for $150 which gives you atleast 3 megapixels, and not 1 MP in any camera phones!
