The Bottom Line The Sanyo S1 is a basic phone with Bluetooth and not much else, which is good for those who want a phone without a lot of frills. With its great messaging interface and affordable pricing, the Sanyo SCP-2700 offers excellent bang for your buck. The LG Rumor2 is a great option for a messaging phone, but LG missed the opportunity to make it both new and improved. The Sanyo 6600 Katana pales in comparison to the Motorola Razr and the Samsung MM-A900 in terms of design and features. But on its own, it's a pretty good midtier phone. The Samsung SPH-M330 isn't for the active user, but it's good for infrequent callers who want a few extra features.
