Sanyo SCP-2700 (impulsive pink, Sprint)

Pros: Amazing messaging system, great keyboard, threaded messaging, very lightweight and extremely durable.

Cons: Uncomfortable shape, no camcorder, bad quality images, no media player, very slow internet, and antenna problems.

Summary: For the price, this is a pretty good phone for people who are first time texters. But it is not for experienced messaging phone users who are looking for the next step up. I upgraded from my LG Rumor to this and i have been extremely disappointed ever since. This doesn't do HALF the things my Rumor did and the Rumor was 2 years older. The camera is terrible and it doesn't take videos. There is no media support at all except for picture mail. The internet browser is ungodly slow and if you don't hold it right, messages wont send or be received. Now, even with all of these problems, there is one thing that Sanyo hit dead on...messaging. This phone has a PERFECT messaging system. The threaded messaging system is so convenient when you are going over a conversation you had earlier. Even though i never really find myself using it, the dedicated "Text" button is a welcome plus too. The Email Client is good as well, but it's nothing to write home about.
Overall, this phone is great for texting... and only texting. If your looking for the next step in a messaging phone, turn right around and keep looking. But if your a first time texter and are looking for just a basic messaging phone, this is for you.
