"You can't find a better cell phone" on by patrickwhill
Pros: This phone actually does what it is supposed to do !
Cons: no cons to be reported
Summary: This phone is a work horse and it actually works correct . It does what a cell phone should do . It talks clean and clear and the battery life is awesome ! the signal is far better than any other . I've been using these 4900's for business for 4 to 5 years now and every one I know has a phone that is not even close to these 4900's . All of the gimickey toys and junk on the other phones is just that -junk!

"Built Like a Tank!!" on by jldrue
Pros: long battery life, solid build, large bright screen, nice design
Cons: size may be bulky for some
Summary: I've had this phone for 4yrs and it's still going strong. It's withstood hitting the cement sidewalks of NYC countless times, it's gotten wet, it's been through storm and harsh use - it's basically built like a tank. I love this phone.
It also has a very long battery life which is most important. It's also big, but sometimes, bigger IS better!
Other pros: large bright screen, nice design -
"Still going like the Energizer Bunny" on by jessekolb
Pros: Durable, Big Screen, Removable ant.
Cons: A little big for a pocket, slightly heavy
Summary: I have had this phone now over 4 years. Got it before it came out to retail stores and it's still a reliable phone. Make sure you get the home cradle for charging near your bed so that you can read incoming mail or screen calls without getting up! Overall it has taken a lickin and still gets more bars than other sprint phones at my house. I'll be sad when i'm forced to upgrade to a Power Vision phone.

"Not so hot" on by kg4nck
Pros: excellent speakerphone, easy to use
Cons: not durable, prone to locking-up
Summary: Soon after the warranty expired on this phone, the thing quit working right, and would freeze up regularly, needing the battery removed and replaced to reset it. Other times it just won't turn on at all, but wait 30 minutes and it'll turn on fine.
So far all my experiences with Sanyo products have been poor durability and poor quality. -
"Solid: performance and physical endurance" on by Gekisen
Pros: Very reliable phone
Cons: It's too bulky to look good
Summary: This phone is SOLID. It has really long battery life and the reception is THE BEST of any wireless I've ever used, hands down. The voice quality is also better than the new phones my family members just got. I've dropped this phone plenty of times and I've even thrown it against the ground when I was angry. It still works fine.
Its internet capabilities are slow... (I think) I don't really have much to compare it to.
Bottom line:
If you don't care about how your cellphone looks but you want something that you can depend on, get this.
