"very durable" on by chloerut
Pros: long lasting
Cons: i haven't had a problem
Summary: I have had this phone for about a year and a half and it can with stand the test of time. My 20 month old daughter learned to open the flip and she has dropped it countless times and opens it more than it rings. This is an incredible phone. I love it!!

"best camera phone there is" on by icatt23
Pros: Excellent camera phone.
Cons: Sound volume for ringer doesn't go high enough
Summary: I just bought an audiovox pm-8920 cause my sanyo 8100 was old. Man do I regret it. My new phone boast 1.3 megapixs, but the picture quality sucks. My 8100 pictures are more colorful and vibrant. I am switching back to my 8100.

"It does not have TEXT MESSAGING!" on by madseason
Pros: Nice LCD display
Cons: No text, bulky, terrible battery, annoying navigation
Summary: I don't know why this review says it has text. It has EMAIL only which means you have to go on the web where you will be charged for internet access. It's bulky and takes terrible pictures. I have had this phone for a year and a half and I can barely get 1 hour talk time. A new battery is $70 so I might as well get a new phone.

"This was my iPhone back in 2004 lol" on by mrsgt81

"Cool in its day; outdated now!" on by Ivoryqueen
Pros: Cool design and camera options when it first came out
Cons: Outdated now, hard to text, hard to navigate
Summary: I got this phone when it first came out (2003 I believe), and it was the COOLEST!! It was the first camera phone that was bright, colorful, and I was impressed with the ringer capabilities, etc.
I started having problems with the "mouthpiece,' and the battery would fall off. Not surprising, as it took quite a beating from my toddler.
I switched to a newer phone (Samsung SPH-A840) until that broke, and I activated the old one (it still worked, but it wasn't the best.. and my sprint contract is about to end, so I didn't want to buy a new Sprint phone.) It feels like a dinosaur now. Big, Bulky, slow, and the messaging capabilities suck!
Every message, whether it be picture, text, email, etc. must be sent over the web, which, unless you have a "vision package," costs extra. I wasn't aware of this, and had gotten used to sending about 300 texts per month with the A840, and I was shocked when I got my bill that showed "PCS Data" charges at $0.03 per KB, totalling $20! So not only was I paying for each text (I paid $5 for 300 texts per month), I was getting DOUBLE charged for sending them via this phone's outdated route!!
The web browser was incredibly slow, I should add.
All in all, if you are looking for a phone TODAY, and you just want to save money, don't mind NOT messaging, and don't mind having an outdated one, go ahead and get it. But I think the "cheap" NEW phones might serve you better. Texters, beware!!
It doesn't help that Sprint PCS sucks.
That's all, hope it was helpful.
