"Finally a durable phone for talking"5.0 starson by Atomic21
Pros: You dont have to baby this thing. It was raining outside today and I was talking on it without worries. You can drop it and it's fine. The battery lasts forever on 1 charge. Reception is awesome. Bluetooth connection works well. Grippy surfaces
Cons: It's big by today's standards, no surprise there. It is smaller than many smartphones though...
Summary: It's a really durable phone for talking. It's probably one of the best I've bought in a long time. You're obviously not going to get this phone if you want the things smartphones have to offer. I'm on an old sprint non-data family plan that's super cheap so I actually bought this outright for $300 (the savings in my monthly bill will make up for it in less than a year). I could see this phone being great for outdoorsy people, people out in the country with bad reception, construction/contractor folks, and even elderly (who can benefit from larger/clearer keys, better grip surfaces, and who might be prone to dropping things).
It is large by todays razor thin standards, but it's not any bigger than my wife's 3 year old flip phone nor my friends smartphone.
I hope this phone does well so the industry see's there is a market for durable regular phones so we're not all forced to upgrade to the ridiculously priced data plans.
