"Not too shabby. Ace with me!"
Pros: Great reception in my area; Lightweight; great colors; Speakerphone works well; easy & fun to record own tones; cool Dynamic Lights; AIM came with mine
Cons: Needs better menus; not much extras; loading time very slow; no hi-fi ringtones (not really important)
Summary: This phone is very delicate to handle. If you handle your phones rough, of course this phone is not for you. I came from a family of Nokia phones so I can adjust pretty well to this one. It is very lightweight so there is a chance that I may loose this one.
Recording my own ringtones is pretty cool. It's not hi-fi but it works. I already recorded and set a Star Trek communicator sound wav whenever I open the clamshell. Granted it's not as loud or as crisp & clear as I want it but it works well enough.
You just got to take the time and play with it or even read the user's guide plus anything else. For example, I've read a lot of complaints about battery life. You can definitely get about 9 days of stand by time if you turn off extra features like, lights, backlight display, alarms, or anything else that may suck up battery power. That's why specs state "Stand by: UP TO 9 days". You can get those 9 days if you turn off those extra feature.
My wife however, trust her Motorola v180 more because it fits her perfectly. She says that this phone is kind of flimsy for her. So basically get the phone that would suit you.
It's really not such a bad phone at all if you handle it and take care of it well. It upsets me how some people do not read the details of this phone.
